Desenvolver a marca da Camila foi um grande privilégio, afinal, a conheço desde 2004. Foi incrível a liberdade que ela me deu ao criar e expressar meu lado mais artesanal. A única coisa que ela escolheu foram as cores, e não poderia ter casado tão bem! Afinal, quando conversávamos no ICQ, o texto dela era Rosa com fundo Azul Tiffany (antes de ser conhecido por esse nome). Foi o primeiro logotipo em que tive memórias afetivas tão vivas no processo de criação.

Coloquei em prática tudo que havia aprendido de lettering: o rascunho, desenhos de brushes no Illustrator e voilá, nasceu uma marca única e super personalizada. Os traços foram inspirados nas linhas de simetria facial, e em uma das texturas, fiz com minha própria maquiagem.

Developing Camila’s brand was a great privilege, after all, I’ve known her since 2004. The freedom she gave me to create and express my more artisanal side was incredible. The only thing she chose were the colors, and they couldn’t have matched so well! After all, when we chatted on ICQ, her text was Pink with a Tiffany Blue background (before it was known by that name). It was the first logo in which I had such vivid emotional memories during the creation process.

I put into practice everything I had learned about lettering: the draft, brushes in Illustrator and voila, a unique and super personalized brand was born. The strokes were inspired by the lines of facial symmetry, and in one of the textures I used my own make-up.
